The Experience

Simbavati Trails Camp is Simbavati's luxury-but-back-to-basics walking trails camp. Located in a secluded area of the Timbavati, Simbavati Trails Camp borders an unspoilt wilderness area of 11, 000 hectares in the Kruger National Park.

The camp offers four en-suite Meru-style safari tents and hosts a maximum of eight guests. Bucket showers are filled on demand with warm water, hearty meals are prepared over an open fire by an expert cook, there is no electricity, nor cellphone reception. Just you, in the heart of an untamed African wildlife wonderland.

Scheduled transfers are compulsory (private vehicles are not permitted to drive to the camp) Two nights' accommodation in a luxury safari tent Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner Two safari activities (as an authentic and immersive walking trail experience, game drives are not available)

** Valid for SA residents only. Bookable within 30 days of arrival. No children under 16 years are allowed at the camp. Kindly note that there is only one daily return transfer, an additional charge will be levied for any late arrivals. Self-drive guests can park their vehicles at Simbavati Hilltop Lodge (collection time at 13.45). Excludes flights, transfers, premium brand beverages and cellar wines, conservation levies, gate entry fees and anything of a personal nature not mentioned above. Block-out dates may apply. Please note: Scheduled transfers are compulsory (no private cars can drive to the camp). Collection time from Hoedspruit is 13h45, and departure times from camp is 10h30. Kindly note that there is only one daily return transfer from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport. The camp is closed from 1 December to 28 February every year.
